gahhhh

I'm on break right now.  It's very pleasant although I'm not a huge fan of working EVERY DAY.  But tomorrow is the last day thankfully.

I'm going to a purse party on saturday.  I wonder if I'll buy anything haha.
I bought a coat and some true "winter" gloves at work today.  I love sales.
I can't wait for summer and to be home.  This summer I realllly want to plant a garden.  I'm not sure why but I want to.

Alright--I'm going to relax and watch more television!

Back to School Soon

I'm heading back to school the day after tomorrow.  I'm excited to see everyone, but I'm sad.  I'm gonna miss being home and only having to work.  But its not a big deal.  I'll be home at the end of February for about a week or so.  Should be great.  I really can't believe that the month has flown by so quick.  It feels like last week I arrived home and started tearing through my room cleaning it lol.  Ehh.

So today was nice.  The power went out which I hated, but it gave me an excuse to finally make that sweatshirt blanket that I've wanted to make forever!  Well, I didn't actually sew it, but I cut out the squares from the sweatshirt and pinned them all together.  A bunch of the sweatshirts were Lizzie's, but it should be really cute once I finish it.  I'll probably keep adding, like maybe when my Oneonta sweatshirts die I'll use those.  Well, I'll have to sew them together tomorrow I guess.

I have to pack too.  I've been avoiding the task for so long because I have so much clothing I want to bring back with me.  I'm not sure how I'm going to do it.  I really can't wait to graduate college and start teaching and everything.  I just want to be done with schooling and I want to start having my own life.  In about four years I'll be saying "I wish I could go back to college..."  ehh, who knows.

Well I'm going to go.  I have to clean up from the mess I've made.

    Ummm--I'm watching Dance Life

I haven't written in a good long time.

Well I haven't written a real entry in forever.  Christmas was really good.  I got a lot of clothes, that I didn't need but I love them anyways.  I got so much stuff that I wanted, so I'm really happy.  New Years was fun too!  I spent the night at Kenzie's house with her and her mom/dad and that was fun.  I was sad to see 2006 go.  It was a really big year for me.  I graduated High School and started college, and I turned 18 so it was all around pretty weird.  I don't really know how I feel about 2007.  It doesn't really have to much to offer me I don't think.  Well, what I have to look forward to is rooming with my 3 best friends at school in the fall.  I'm so excited about that I really can't wait.  I miss college.  I never thought I'd say that but I really do, I miss my best friends SO MUCH.  But when I'm at school I miss my "home" friends haha.  There aren't too many, only about 3-4 but I still miss them.  I'm not too upset that I don't keep in touch with too many people.  Towards the end of last year a lot of people changed and I lost a lot of my friends, but they were the ones that changed...not me.  So I've made a list of resolutions that I hope I'll keep.  Who knows...we'll see.

1. Go to the gym more often
2. Drink more water
3. Start writing more so I can look back on my past when I'm 80 years old
4. Read more books and do more crossword puzzles
5. Become well versed with current issues i.e. watch the news
6. Volunteer and recycle more
7. Start saving money in my IRA so I can have a good retirement
8. Not but ANY CLOTHES.  Thats a big one for me.  I don't have the space in my closet and I really shouldn't spent the money either!
9. Open up more--not be so shy
10. Stop waiting until the last minute so buy gifts and cards for birthdays/holidays

Two Thousand Six, you were a great year.  I doubt I'll ever forget you.
Two Thousand Seven, please increase in greatness.  Bring great things for me.

Thats What I Love About Sundays [

Time Flies Too Fast

I was just sitting here thinking how weird it is, not to be in high school. Honestly, I don't feel like I've left yet, I'm just on an extended vacation. I know that I graduated, I have a picture sitting right in front of me from that day, yet-it just seems so weird. Honestly, when did I turn into a college student? When did I get here, and how? It's hard to realize, that things will never be like they used to be. Its becoming limited on the times I will see all my close friends at one time. We will hang out in groups and then, slowly, we will just stop hanging out all together. Its hard,it really is. Some people just keep getting further and further and I hate it. When did I start saying "When I was in high school..." and when did I start referring my best friends with their name, because my new friends don't know them. When did I start calling my parents just to talk? To find out the gossip about Ballston Spa? Its so hard to comprehend. When did I start sharing a room with someone and when did I start hanging up pictures of friends because I miss them too much. When did I start counting how many days I have until I go HOME. When did all this happen? Schools great, really it is, but its really hard to let go of the past. The familiar. I've started rambling, but I really needed to get it all out.

Graduation

Graduation

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we turn 25
I keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same
But when we leave this year we won't be coming back
No more hanging out cause we're on a different track
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now cause you don't have another day
Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down
These memories are playing like a film without sound
And I keep thinking of that night in June
I didn't know much of love
But it came too soon
And there was me and you
And then we got real cool
Stay at home talking on the telephone with me
We'd get so excited, we'd get so scared
Laughing at our selves thinking life's not fair
And this is how it feels

As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come whatever
We will still be
Friends forever

So if we get the big jobs
And we make the big money
When we look back now
Will our jokes still be funny?
Will we still remember everything we learned in school?
Still be trying to break every single rule
Will little brainy Bobby be the stockbroker man?
Can Heather find a job that won't interfere with her tan?
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly
And this is how it feels

As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come whatever
We will still be
Friends forever

La, la, la, la
Yeah, yeah, yeah
La, la, la, la
We will still be friends forever

Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now?
Can we survive it out there?
Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end
And suddenly it's like we're women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us 'round?
Will these memories fade when I leave this town
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly

As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come whatever
We will still be
Friends forever

As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come whatever
We will still be
Friends forever

As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come whatever
We will still be
Friends forever<3

Career Change Ehh?

So I've been interning at Milton Terrace for almost 2 months and I really didn't think I was going to like it at all, but low and behold, I've decided to maybe become a first grade teacher!  This week, since I haven't had any school, I've gone in twice this week, for pretty much the whole day.  They are SO cute!  They have grown on me so much, so they've obviously influence my decision to maybe be a first grade teacher.

I had wanted to go to Siena and learn a MILLION different languages, but now the plan has changed.  I want to go to Oneonta now, I think.  I want to get certified to be an elementary school teacher and to be French Teacher in High School.  Ideally I would be certified to be a French/Spanish/Math Teacher annnnnd an First Grade Teacher, but I really don't know how thats going to play out.

When I went to Milton Terrace this past week I made Chinese Lanterns, and when we went to lunch one little girl wanted to hold my hand.  She was adorable.  Then today on the way back from lunch, two girls held my hands and I was like a sandwhich.  They were sooooooooooo adorable, even the boys were cute.  I read a storty to them and when I was done, they clapped for me.  Adorable!  They always want to say hi to me, they melt my heart.  When I was leaving today, there is an adorable Asian boy named Yang who hardly ever talks and he says "Bye Sarah".  He was so cute.  The entire class was.

When I left today and on tuesday, I actually felt sad.  I think thats what made me decide I might want to be an elementary school teacher.  I like the order and simplicity of being an elementary, like doing the weather and the date and stuff like that.  Kids don't talk back, and they still get their names on the board.  Its cute.  Well thats enough rambling about being an elementary school teacher!

I can't believe tomorrow is the last swim meet!  I just can't believe it.  Today is thursday, and I didn't have a swim meet to go to, and it felt really weird.  I have one tomorrow but thats it, its kind of sad actually!

Well thats enough for this entry.  Leave me comments <3

\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

So I have no school this week, and I'm pretty happy about that indeed.  I was supposed to go to Milton Terrace today for CEIP, but my mom wouldn't let me go because of the weather.  So I'm going to go tomorrow.

Yesterday I went to Saratoga for a while.  I met Amanda for bagels and then after that I went to the library.  My plan was to go to Borders and walk around "Sarah City" as I like to call it, but I went to the library and got pretty consumed with finding books and such.  Then I sat in a little alcove in the library watching the people walk down the street.  It was quite relaxing, and I really enjoyed it.  I forgot how much I love the library and I plan on going a few times this week.

So I'm watching Dawson's Creek, because its one of my favorite shows, and I've decided that I love Pacey.  He's quite cute.

I can't wait for summer.  Its going to be fun.  I'm going up to Lake George with some loverly ladies and it will be great!
